Lobster Love Story

Since I cannot know what it is to be a lobster, the sculpture proposes a speculative narrative built on a childhood story my grandmother created for me one night before bed. The tale followed a lobster on a journey to find his lost lover, meeting other animals, facing conflict, and ultimately reuniting through persistence. Translating that narrative into sculpture became a way of imagining an emotional interiority often denied to animals we categorize as monstrous, unfamiliar, or other.
